About the Recipe

This sauce is a total winner, uses 4 healthy ingredients and is cooked in just under 25 minutes. You can pour this over pasta for Mac and cheese, use it as a base for soup or use on nachos and chilli. The possibilities are endless, definitely worth giving it a try.

Ingredients

2 Carrots


2 Potatoes


1/3 Cup of Nutritional yeast


4 Tbsp Olive oil


Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1


Put the carrots and potatoes in a pan and boil until thoroughly cooked and tender. It's up to yourself whether you peel them or just wash them before cooking.


Step 2


Drain the carrots and potatoes when cooked and place in a blender. I use a nutribullet but any will do.


Step 3


Add the nutritional yeast and half of the olive oil to the blender with the potatoes and carrots and blend.


Step 4


Check the consistency, you want this to be thick and creamy. Add the rest of the olive oil if neccessary or you can add water to loosen it also. Blend then add your salt and pepper and voila (chefs kiss) enjoy
