About the Recipe
This low carb alternative is fantastic for supporting sustained energy goals and hormonal balance. Rich in vitamins A and C and only 280 calories a serving. A great meal to support weight management.

Ingredients
4 large courgettes
2lbs lean turkey or beef mince, I used beef.
1 cup of tomato marinara sauce
1 egg
1/4 cup of almond flour
2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp italian seasoning
Fresh basil leaves
Salt and pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the mince meat, egg, almond flour, garlic and seasonings together.
Step 2
Roll into meatballs and brown in a large pan.
Step 3
Add the marinara sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Spiralise the courgettes and saute the zoodles for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Serve the meatballs over the zoodles, garnish with fresh basil and season to taste.
